Damon Hill joins Sky Sports F1/HD team
Former Formula 1 world champion, Damon Hill, has joined the Sky Sports F1/HD team.
Damon will join the likes of Martin Brundle, Anthony Davidson, David Croft, Ted Kravitz, Natalie Pinkham and Georgie Thompson, and will provide expert analysis on each of the Grand Prix’s.
Hill commented: “The plans Sky Sports have for Formula 1 are very impressive, particularly the dedicated Formula 1 channel and I couldn’t resist becoming involved. There are so many reasons to be excited about the new season and I can’t wait to get started.”
Executive Producer of the new channel, Martin Turner, commented: “Damon Hill is a British motor racing legend and has incredible Formula 1 knowledge and insight. He will provide our viewers with not just a driver’s eye view, but also that of a world champion. There aren’t many around and I’m delighted we’ll have Damon with us during the season.”
Sky Sports F1/HD launches this March, on the Sky and Virgin Media platforms, ahead of the 2012 Formula 1 season.
