Team17, the developers behind the Worms series have confirmed that its latest 3D Worms game, Worms Ultimate Mayhem will be released on the EU PSN (PlayStation Network) on February 15th.
US PS3 owners will be able to download the game a day earlier, on 14th February for $14.99 (£9.99 or €12.99).
The newest edition of the game has been described as the “definitive” 3D worms game. Worms Ultimate Mayhem contains 70 single-player missions and challenges, online and local multiplayer for up to four players, five multi-player modes, destructible environments and “unprecedented customization of both worms and weapons”
The developer explained: “Worms Ultimate Mayhem is a souped-up, re-vamped, high definition reimaging of Worms 3D and Worms 4: Mayhem.”
