Nancy’s (Jessica Fox) mum, Margaret (Darryl Fishwick), turns up in Hollyoaks this week to surprise her daughter, but brings with her a bombshell that leaves Darren (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) reeling.  During her stay, Margaret does her best to split Nancy and Darren up, but when old feelings start to stir for Darren on his stag night, could he be capable of doing that all by himself?  As the week progresses Margaret hits the jackpot in her quest, but when it comes to the crunch can she break Nancy’s heart?

Nancy’s mum, Margaret, turns up in Hollyoaks this week to surprise her daughter, but brings with her a bombshell that leaves Darren reeling.

Ruby (Anna Shaffer) agrees to give Jono (Dylan Llewellyn) yet another chance, but how long will it take for him to mess it up, again?  When at the end of the week, Ruby discovers why Jono has been keeping their relationship a secret, could it be make or break time?

Maddie (Scarlett Bowman) is growing ever irritated by Callum’s (Laurie Duncan) distant behaviour, but will she find out the reason for it?

Neil (Tosin Cole) runs out of excuses not to drive this week, but when a risk he takes ends in danger, can the gang forgive his lies?

With Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) otherwise engaged, and Cheryl (Bronaugh Waugh) throwing herself into student life, neglecting her friends and family in the process, it is left to Brendan (Emmett J. Scanalan) to help Lynsey (Karen Hassan) prepare for her interview, as well as throwing a few home truths at Cheryl in the process.

Emmerdale

Amy (Chelsea Half-Penny) finds herself in a vulnerable position, and too scared of letting Val (Charlie Hardwick) and Eric (Chris Chittel) down again, heads to the Dingles to re-group.  Val soon finds out her whereabouts, and whilst having a go at her for turning to Cain’s (Jeff Hordley) family rather than her own, Amy gives in to the grief that has been building and her true feelings finally surface.  Could this be the start of bridges finally being built?  Or could it be the opening of a new can of worms for Val and Eric?  The subject of Portugal is revisited, and it seems that Amy may well be warming to the idea, but has terms and conditions, will Val be able to swallow her pride, or could this be adapted into a new game?

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) makes an unexpected U turn with regards to the situation between Rodney (Patrick Mower) and Carl (Tom Lister) this week, but will her plan pay off?

Ashley (John Middleton) tries desperately to play happy families, but his resentment bubbles over when a phone call from A&E opens old wounds.

The love triangle between Chas (Lucy Pargeter), Moira (Natalie J Robb) and John (James Thornton) reaches new heights this week, and draws more people into its whirlwind.  With so many people’s happiness, friendships and relationships at stake, how could this possibly have a happy outcome?  John has a surprise proposal for Moira, but is it the one she was expecting?  As the situation unfolds around her, Moira seeks solace in a surprising source, but is this a wise decision?  Meanwhile, a shocking sighting by Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) could turn the entire situation on its head!  A close call and a shock confession could be just what the Doctor ordered, but is it too late?

Carla (Alison King) and Peter’s (Chris Gasgoyne) new relationship does not get off to a great start, Simon is in trouble at school, and Carla is in trouble at work.  Peter has a shock proposal for his new love, but what will she make of it?  Playing happy families is added to the list of strains and stresses for the factory owner, when it becomes very clear that Simon is not her biggest fan, can she ever live up to Leanne’s (Jane Danson) reputation?

The neighbour from hell war well and truly begins for Steve (Simon Gregson) and Tracy (Kate Ford), with both using their devious creativity to make the others life a living nightmare, how far will they go, and with what consequences?

Katy (Georgia Foote) and Chesney (Sam Aston) are really finding the struggles of parenting difficult this week.  With debts mounting, Chesney is forced to work all the hours God sends in order to keep them afloat.  However, little Joseph is refusing to sleep, leaving Katy exhausted.  Refusing to accept help from anyone, they continue to muddle through best they can, but when the rent needs to be paid urgently, Katy is faced with a moral dilemma; will her exhaustion cloud her judgement?

Milton (Robert Vaughn) decides he may have outstayed his welcome and suggests he returns to the States, but how will Sylvia (Stephanie Cole) react?

Paul (Tony Hirst) and Lesley (Judy Holt) need somewhere to stay this week after a burst pipe makes their home uninhabitable.  With a recent spare room, Eileen (Sue Cleaver) offers for them to stay with her, but when Jason finds out he is less than happy, especially when he realises it is his room they have been offered.  Mother and son fall out and Jason is forced to move into the flat he has just let Tina (Michelle Keegan) move back into, could there be a spark revived between the exes?  A comforting moment between her and Tommy (Chris Fountain) suggests her heart may be destined somewhere else.

Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Kirsty (Natalie Gumede) are delighted to show off their scan pictures, but hints of turning the once bachelor pad into a family home suggests that Tommy may also be looking for somewhere else to live pretty soon.

EastEnders

The games between Lucy (Hetti Bywater) and Mandy (Nicola Stapleton) reach new heights this week.  With the plans for the wedding underway, Lucy goes all out to cause as much trouble as possible, not content with ruining Mandy’s wedding dress, she turns up the pressure until Mandy ends up violently attacking her.  Lucy revels in playing the victim, and it seems that her nasty tricks have finally worked their black magic on Ian (Adam Woodyatt).  However, it looks like the scheming vixen may have a conscience somewhere in there after all when a heart to heart with little Bobby results in her re-evaluating her behaviour, for now anyway.

Michael (Steve John Shepherd) decides to take his resentment over Derek (Jamie Foreman) out on the entire Branning family, and enlists the help of an unlikely source, one who Janine (Charlie Brookes) far from approves of.

The custody battle between Jack (Scott Maslen) and Roxy (Rita Simons) takes several unexpected turns this week.  Whilst Jack plays with fire, it seems the spark ignites unexpectedly resulting in a very unlikely development, could it be the icing on the cake for either case, or could a happy ending be in sight?
