New ‘Final Fantasy XIII’ confirmed by Square Enix
Square Enix has confirmed that a Final Fantasy XIII sequel will be unveiled at an upcoming anniversary event.
The game has just entered production and its full title will be revealed at the Final Fantasy anniversary event which is set to take place from August 31st until September 2nd, producer Yorhinori Kitase told Famitsu. The announcement itself for Final Fantasy XIII-3 is expected to be made on September 1st.
The publisher is also still working on Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which has had a troubled development cycle over the past several years.
The company also recently announced that it is bringing back Final Fantasy VII on PC via the company’s online store.
