‘Text Santa’ 2012 charities revealed

ITV have today confirmed the six charities that will be supported by their second Text Santa appeal – Age UK, Anthony Nolan, Carers UK, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Together4ShortLives and Whizz-Kidz.
Last year’s Text Santa appeal – which was hosted by Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley, and Ant & Dec – raised over four million pounds for Carers UK, Crisis, Help the Hospices, Samaritans, WRVS, Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Noah’s Ark Appeal, Helping Hand and the Yorkhill Children’s Foundation.

In June it was revealed that the charities application process was open once again, confirming that the telethon would be returning in December.
