Classic FM to celebrate music of ‘James Bond’ with two-hour programme

have announced a special programme that will celebrate the music of .

The two-hour programme – which will be broadcast a week before the next installment, Skyfall, is released - will also feature exclusive interviews with Bond composers  and .

listeners were invited to the Global Radio Theatre in London’s Leicester Square for the event – which was hosted by broadcaster and film music expert, Tommy Pearson. Exclusive video footage from the evening will be broadcast on the station’s website.

’s Managing Editor, Sam Jackson, said: “We’re delighted to celebrate the music of on , in the company of three of the most knowledgeable voices on film music in the world today. Through these exclusive interviews, our listeners have the opportunity to discover how the world’s greatest spy has been celebrated in music over the last fifty years.”

A Celebration: The Music of 007 will be broadcast on Friday, October 19th from 8pm-10pm on 100-102 FM, digital and online at classicfm.com
