Come the 10th of March, you’ll be able to hear how the Official UK Top 40 Chart is looking during the week. For the first time ever, BBC Radio 1 will broadcast a new half hour bulletin called the Official Chart Update. The show will be live every Wednesday between 3:30 and 4pm, and will be hosted by Greg James as it’s during his show. According to the BBC, Greg will reveal how the runners and riders are selling in the first few days of the week, outlining the hottest new tracks of the week so far, as well as the new entries and highest climbers – building the suspense ahead of the Official Singles Chart and Albums Chart which are revealed in The Chart Show with Reggie Yates on Radio 1 every Sunday from 4 – 7pm. The Official Charts Company will also publish the updates on sales on Radio 1’s website, Facebook and Twitter.
