Shane Richie, Jessie Wallace Returning To EastEnders!

Shane Richie and Jessie Wallace are set to return to EastEnders later this year as show bosses have confirmed that their characters Alfie Moon and Kat Slater are on their way back to Albert Square! The pair were last seen driving off into the the night after they got married in the Queen Vic all the way back in 2005. Who know’s what they’ve been up to since, it’ll be interesting to see how their new storylines develop! Speaking of his return, Shane Richie said ‘It’s an honour and a privilege to be asked back to the iconic series which is at the top of its game! I’m looking forward to finding out what Alfie has been up to over the last few years but more importantly what the future has in store for him.’ On her return, Jessie Wallace who is remembered for the infamous ‘you ain’t my mother’ scene said ‘I’ve really enjoyed playing different roles over the last few years but am excited to slip back into Kat Slater’s stilettos. I’ve missed her.’ Richie added ‘More than anything I’m looking forward to getting my face covered in Kat’s lipstick again!’ Filming will commence later this year and we can expect to see them back on our screens by the Autumn!
