Sorry to hear that Bob has passed away.

The 'out of vision' announcer on the BBC's Generation Game was Tony Hawes. I don't know if Bob Holness was ever involved with the show.

I"m devastated to see Katherine Kelly leaving Coronation Street. She is by far the best actor on the programme, more believeable than anyone else. Please don't close the door permanently, Kelly, and come back to the Street sometime in the future. We love you!

Well thank goodness for that.

Simon has been needing to do something for a while now. It's gone on long enough.

We need something new and fresh. Each year we know what to expect, thousands audition, one leaves the winner, second place generally does better than first. Yawn Yawn.

C'mon Cowell, we know you have something in that head of yours. Give it to us.

Whilst it has been confirmed that the set up of these stations will be funded from the BBC licence fee pot, it is just to get the concept going. Once the stations have been started they will then rely on local advertising to fund them, and will be independent television stations, not branching from the BBC, so this will almost certainly not affect the BBC licence and advertising policies already in place. Hope this answers your question. ^AH

Both candidates did really well, although I think Zara again disappointed with a fairly lame advert.

All credit to her, though. I have had my doubts about her overall business ability - too often she was all style over substance - but she was also a fantastic presenter, and clearly knows what she wants to do next, so good luck to her. But I still maintain Harry H was the best overall candidate.

Overall, I have to say the standard of the Apprenti-Kids has been much higher than many of the grown-up candidates. I take my hat off to all of them. Except maybe Mahamed - who did, to be fair, provide the two best moments of the episode with his zombie game suggestion and then being chased around the room by the burly butcher. Comedy gold.
